Cougar are one of the most unique and beautiful trophies anywhere .. They are becoming very numerous all over .. and even a bit dangerous in some areas. Dogs are always used to hunt them, since they are almost never seen by stalking methods. Very exciting hunting and a trophy room is never really complete without a mountain lion - do the Mule Deer a favor -- go get one ! !

Hunt the mountain lion in Colorado. This outfitter is a long time rancher in this area ... really knows the mountains and has been running cattle up here for over 40 years.  Good hounds usually get a nice cat in a tree  You have 7 days to hunt and listen to this --- if you happen to be unsuccessful, then you can come back the following season for 1/2 price for another seven day hunt -- how's that??  This is a good hunt for older guys since they usually get a 'treed' cat THEN ask the hunter to walk in to take the lion.  For a mature tom only hunt, cost is $4,500 for 10 days.  This one goes out of the South Fork, CO area and December and January are the best times -- however, it is much better to wait until the outfitter calls when there is good snow on the ground if you can do it this way.  This is an excellent trip for your cat.

Big Lions in this area and near 100% success.  Motel stay with food your cost (but lion license is included) with cheap little place to stay in Raton and the guys pick you up every morning to begin looking for the cats.  They have 15 plus dogs so you have fresh dogs daily and in Dec or January usually there is some snow to help you with the tracking on the cats.  Excellent hunt for the money.  Call us for more details on this one.  December thru January only ..  Hunt cougar 5 days 1 x 1 for a great low price.  Good dogs and great guides who are dog men. ... Meet at Sheridan and hunt the Big Horn Mountains.    This is a great hunt for big cats with a long-time outfitter.  This is a dandy.  Outfitter is an excellent taxidermist too ... so you can leave your lion right here with him for your mount too if you want.  We still have a few openings.
